At 9 am, we will start the tour by walking through the old market to Cat Cat village, where you will be treated to an overview of the different hill tribes and their cultures in the midst of gushing waterfalls. Take in the scenic landscapes and gorgeous rice terraces on the way to Y Linh Ho, a small village occupied by the Black Hmong tribe. On the way, you can expect to see both the women and the men in the fields, or if weather does not permit, making handicraft at home. We will then continue to hike upwards to Cau La Chuoi (Sue’s village), where you can take this opportunity to immerse in the Hmong culture, and learn how to make spring rolls while chatting with Sue and her mother. After a delicious homecooked lunch (around 3 pm), we will trek through a bamboo forest to Lao Chai where we will head back to Sapa by car.
